Ken Jones started shooting as a Sub-Junior in 1954 and began winning titles the first year. As a member of the1962 Air Force Shooting Team he competed around the world. In 1966 he won the world title in Germany with a score of 297 x 300. The score was later recorded in the Guiness Book of World Records.
Some of his major wins include the Oregon State Championship Singles in 1967-70-71, Doubles in 1977, and High Over All and High All Around in 1967. At the Grand in 1987, he won the Doubles Championship and in 1989 the High All Around. After moving to Washington, Ken has been a member of the All Star Team 14 times and has ten 100 straights in doubles to his credit.
