Carl began his career in 1971. During his shooting career he collected 15 Washington titles, three out of state titles, twelve Grand Pacific titles, and ten years All Star placements. In 1979 and 2001, he was HAA at the Grand, and in 1997 the Doubles Champion. He also earned numerous runner-up and yardage titles at the Grand during his career. In 2001, he won both the HAA and HOA at the Washington State shoot, as well as runner up, class, or category winner in all events.
Many of Carl’s friends describe him as a fierce competitor, a serious student of the sport, but off the line a gentleman always.
Therefore, we welcome Carl as a member of the Class of 2023 PITA Hall of Fame.
